How does it work?
Set your alarm like any clock. When it goes off, the target pops up and lights red. Grab the pistol, aim, and hit the bullseye — the alarm stops only when you've landed the number of hits you set (1 to 5). The pistol uses an invisible infrared beam, like a TV remote.
Is it safe? Does the pistol shoot anything?
Completely safe. Nothing is launched — the pistol sends an infrared signal that the target's sensor picks up. It's safe for kids, pets and sleepy adults.
Can I just press a button to turn it off?
No — that's the whole point. The alarm can't be silenced from the clock; you have to hit the target. (You can still lower the volume and switch the alarm off entirely when you don't need it.)
How loud is it?
Loud enough for heavy sleepers, with an adjustable volume. The target also flashes, so it works even for light sleepers who prefer a lower volume.
What batteries does it need?
The clock takes 3 × AA and the pistol 3 × AAA (not included). A set lasts several months with daily use.
